Since 1895, the USTA Texas has been one of the 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association, the governing body of tennis in America. The USTA Texas is one of the fastest growing of the 17 sections and features a pathway of tennis programs for beginning, recreational and competitive juniors, adults and seniors. Founded in 1881, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis in this country. In addition to owning the U.S. Open and selecting members of the U.S. Davis Cup, Fed Cup, Olympic and Paralympic teams, the USTA administers a variety of programs nationwide for players of all ages and ability levels.

The USTA Texas is a volunteer based organization working toward developing and growing the game of tennis in Texas. We gratefully acknowledge the outstanding contributions made by all Texas volunteers. We are always needing the help and skills of tennis enthusiasts. If you would like to become a part of our volunteer family and help grow the game call us at 512-443-1334 or email us at ghuntress@texas.usta.com.
