The 2011 USTA Texas Combo League Championships will be held in Waco, Texas from October 14-16. The main site is the Waco Regional Tennis Center with matches played at Robinson High School also.
Combo Doubles is loved for its simple format that combines players NTPR levels from 5.5 to 9.5 (example a team can have three 4.0 men and three 4.5 men on an 8.5 team). Men and women play on separate teams but there can be no more than 1.0 difference between partners. This makes it easy to form teams and participants can play with friends of different skill levels in a three doubles format that is tons of fun!
Teams from Abilene, Austin, College Station, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Lubbock, Midland, Northeast Texas, San Angelo, San Antonio, Southeast Texas, Valley and Waco will compete for championships in four ladies and two men’s adult divisions.
