USTA Texas Public Facility Funding Grant

USTA Texas Camps (Attend the Tennis Camp of Your Dreams)
Each year various tennis camps across the state participate in our week-long scholarship program. This program is open to all Texas section members 18 years of age and under, who will not be entering college. Scholarship winners are matched with a camp. The scholarship is for players who may not otherwise be able to attend a summer tennis camp. Proof of financial need is required.

CTA Start-Up Grant
For communities interested in starting a community tennis association. Funds can be used for general start-up costs: postage, supplies, advertising, kick-off event, incorporation fees, etc. Range: $250 - $1,000. No deadline. 2017 CTA Capacity Building Grant (Formerly the CTA Partnership Grant)
For all registered & approved CTAs. This grant is designed to support annual CTA operations including increasing participation in community tennis programs, enriching existing programs and strengthening CTA in areas of promotion, partnerships, fundraising and volunteer management. Range: $500-$7,500. The deadline for the 2017 CTA Capacity Building Grant has passed. All partnership grants applicants must fill out a CTA Health Index and be actively participating in the development of your CTA based on the Health Index findings.

Grow the Game
To help fund communities that want to grow the game. Any program idea that a coach, city parks department, pro, club, CTA, or service organization may have to bring more players into the game of tennis is welcome! (National Junior Tennis League start-up grants, Special Populations grants and USA Tennis grants are included in the Grow the Game Grant.).

2017 Texas Diversity Grant
USTA Texas is now accepting applications for the 2017 Texas Diversity Grant Program. The Texas Diversity Grant provides players with financial assistance to prepare for and participate in tournament play. The grant is open to Texas players of all levels between the ages of 6-18. Grant awards range from $300-$1,000. Grant recipients serve as positive examples to their peers and as leaders in their communities.
The deadline to submit a grant application is Wednesday, February 1, 2017. You can download grant requirements and the grant application below.

Tournament Schedule Events or ITF Texas Tennis and Education Foundation Junior Competitive Player Travel Reimbursement Grant
The purpose of this grant is to assist competitive junior players with their travel expenses to National Junior Tournament events or ITF schedule events. Any player may submit an application for this travel expense reimbursement grant associated with national events. For more information click here
2017 Athletic Trainer Matching Grant
The USTA Texas Section Sports Science Committee is pleased to once again offer you an opportunity to improve your tournaments via the 2017 Athletic Trainer Matching Grant. The presence of an athletic trainer at tennis tournaments is becoming increasingly more important at all levels. This grant is to assist tournaments in covering half of the cost of having a trainer present at a tournament. In addition to providing help for injuries, athletic trainers can be used as an educational tool with regards to injury prevention, hydration and nutrition. The application deadline for the 2017 Athletic Trainer Matching Grant is Tuesday, February 7. If you have tournaments in January and/or February, they will be taken into consideration before the deadline.
