Welcome Back to Tennis Program (WBTT)
Welcome Back to Tennis gives new and returning players of a similar age an opportunity to commit to a healthier lifestyle by providing them with an exciting social event and offering an age-specific tennis program. It is never too late to start playing tennis or return to the sport of a lifetime!
Reasons to host/attend an event:
- Tennis is a great way for people to commit to a healthier lifestyle during the next 20 years of their life
- Tennis can be enjoyed socially, at all skill levels
- Tennis provides a terrific physical workout
- Tennis can help you meet other people just like you and form friendships
- Tennis is FUN!
The event will include:
- On-court activities
- Food and drink refreshments
- Door prizes
- Socializing/ Networking opportunities
- Sign-up opportunities for continuing tennis programs
To help promote WBTT, the USTA Texas will be offering assistance to events throughout Texas.
Sites will receive:
- WBTT event planning guide and Curriculum Guide
- Participant welcome gifts and prizes
- WBTT T-shirts for volunteers
- A stipend for hosting a WBTT event
