2011 Rankings for Adults, Seniors, and Super Seniors coming soon
With the 2011 tournaments coming to a close, the Preliminary Rankings for the Adults, Seniors, and Super Seniors are expected to be published the end of the first week of January, 2012. The Rankings are based on a Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 time basis, and players will have a very short time to notify the Texas Section office of any changes or updates needed. Be sure to check the "Preliminary Ranking" list on the Internet; or if it is not yet published, check the most recent "Year to Date" list.
It should be noted that players are allowed to count one Category I National Tournament (i.e. Clay, Hard, Grass and Indoor tournaments) on a player’s Texas Section record. They are counted (in the Texas record) as a 600 Point Tournament category. Also, one Category II National Tournament (out of Section tournament) may be counted in a player's Texas Section record. They are counted as a 400 Point Tournament category (again, on the Texas record). Only one Cat. I, plus one out of Section Cat. II may be counted.
To have them added, players must notify the Texas Section Adult & Senior Competitive Coordinator by e-mail at: NPerkins@texas.usta.com.
All corrections and requests for National tournament credit must be received in the Texas Section office no later than midnight, Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012.

The following should be noted for Adult, Senior, and Super Senior Rankings:
In Adult, Senior and Super Senor Divisions: player’s "Best 5" tournament results in the singles divisions and "Best 4" tournament results in the doubles divisions in a calendar year are counted. A player can play as many events as he/she wants, but only the results from the "Best 4 or 5" will be used in determining the final ranking.
