W.T. Caswell Service Award
The W.T. Caswell Service Award, established in 1962, is given to the Texas resident who has made valuable contributions to the growth and development of tennis in Texas, working as a volunteer within the framework of the USTA Texas Section, primarily at the section level, during the year in which the award is given and/or over a period of years. Lloyd Sessions Educational Merit Award
Established in 1973 to emphasize the word "educational" and the importance of developing junior tennis in Texas, the nominee for this award should exhibit outstanding abilities at a professional level in building stronger junior tennis at all levels of skill. To qualify, an individual must be a resident of Texas and be actively involved in working with junior players, but not exclusively. He/She may be a teacher on the staff of an educational institution, a staff member of a city recreation department, a teaching pro or in some comparable employment. Past recipients. Application


USTA Texas Section Family of the Year
Annually since 1975, the USTA Texas Section has selected a family to honor for contributions to Texas tennis. The family represents the development and promotion of tennis on and off the tennis court on a local and/or statewide basis. The recipient of the award is then nominated for the USTA Family of the Year Award. Past recipients. Application


USTA Texas Section Community Service Award
Inaugurated in 1989, this award honors a person who has provided outstanding contributions in promoting and conducting recreational tennis programs for adults and/or juniors. The award further signifies the vital importance of recreational play. The recipient must have at least three consecutive seasons of fieldwork in tennis through community centers, schools, parks or similar institutions. Other criteria include growth of the program and its community impact, development of innovative features, motivational work with participants, involvement of other recreational organizations, and association with the USTA through the Texas Section. Julius Zinn Seniors' Service Award
Established in 1997, this award honors a senior member of the USTA Texas Section who has made a contribution through his/her efforts, willingness, cooperation, and participation, most deserving of the respect and honor of the seniors, either in play and/or organizational work for the betterment and furtherance of senior activities. USTA Texas Section Senior Spirit of Tennis Awards
Founded in 1992, these awards honor one male and one female player who, in addition to having a high sectional ranking, exemplify the qualities of sportsmanship, enthusiasm, conditioning, resourcefulness, and a cooperative spirit, most deserving of the respect and honor of the seniors, either in play or organizational work for the betterment and furtherance of senior activities. John McFarlin Award
Established by John R. McFarlin of San Antonio in 1965, this award is presented to the outstanding junior boy in Texas who exemplifies outstanding sportsmanship and leadership, civic responsibility, character and a good tennis ranking due to superior tournament play. Past Recipients. Application

Mary Lowdon Award
Created by the Maureen Connolly Brinker Foundation in 1972, this award honors an outstanding junior girl in Texas who has shown exceptional ability, a good ranking, a willingness to work with up-and-coming players, cooperation and proper respect, and a sportsmanlike and competitive spirit. Maureen Connolly Brinker and Art Foust Sportsmanship Awards
Established in 1975 and 1988 respectively and presented annually, these awards honor a Super Championship Boy and Girl for outstanding sportsmanship and fair play both on and off the court. Zina Garrison and Bob McKinley Sportsmanship Awards
Established in 2006 and 2005 respectively and presented annually, these awards honor a Super Championship 16s Boy and Girl for outstanding sportsmanship and fair play both on and off the court.  Final selection is made by the players at the Summer Grand Slam. Past Recipients

Clarence Mabry and Nancy Jeffett Sportsmanship Awards
Inaugurated in 1990 and presented annually, these awards honor a Super Championship Boy and Girl for outstanding sportsmanship and fair play both on and off the court. Final selection is made by the tournament committee at each Super Championship Major Zone.

USTA Texas Section Umpire of the Year Award
Since 1981 the Umpire of the Year Award has recognized a USTA certified official who has contributed his/her time working to strengthen officiating in the Texas Section. Past Recipients.

USTA Texas Section Member Organization of the Year Awards
Established in 1982 and presented annually by each section to recognize outstanding service by a member organization to its members and to the game of tennis.  The USTA Texas Section recipient automatically becomes a candidate for the USTA Award. Past Recipients.

Chuck McKinley Awards
Inaugurated in 2001, this award honors a USTA Texas Section junior tennis player(s) that earned the highest national ranking during the previous calendar year. Past Recipients.
