NEW GRANT DEADLINE FOR ALL OPEN FUNDING PROGRAMS
Please note that USTA Texas will institute one standard grant deadline for all open Community Development funding programs. This includes all year-round open funding programs such as Grow the Game Grants, CTA Start-up Grants, and Texas Public Facility Grants. All grants must be received by the deadline of October 1, 2009. USTA Texas Public Facility Funding Grant This is a matching grant program with funding ranging from $2,500 - $10,000. Find out more.
CTA Start-up Grant For communities interested in starting a community tennis association. Funds can be used for general start-up costs: postage, supplies, advertising, kick-off event, incorporation fees, etc. Range: $250 - $1,000. No deadline. CTA Partnership Grant For all registered & approved CTAs. This grant is designed to support annual CTA operations including increasing participation in community tennis programs, enriching existing programs and strengthening CTA in areas of promotion, partnerships, fundraising and volunteer management. Grow the Game To help fund communities that want to grow the game. Any program idea that a coach, city parks department, pro, club, CTA, or service organization may have to bring more players into the game of tennis is welcome! (National Junior Tennis League start-up grants, Special Populations grants and USA Tennis grants are included in the Grow the Game Grant.). Multicultural Participation Program Seed Grant Available to clubs, city parks departments, CTA's, and service organizations interested in starting a minority tennis program for kids or adults. 8 grants, up to $1,000 each are available. No deadline. Contact Marcos Valdez at Valdez@texas.usta.com.
Texas Diversity Grant-2009 The Texas Diversity Grant strives to reach players, ages 6-18, who are in need of financial assistance with expenses relating to both tournament preparation and tournament play. All levels are encouraged to apply. Grant awards will range from $300-$1000. The application deadline is January 29, 2010. Download the application here. 2008 School Tennis Community Funding Grant This grant will provide resources, assistance, and training in an effort to help our partners create lasting tennis programs both in school and after school. All facilities, clubs, and CTAs, whether they are a Single-Purpose CTA or an Umbrella CTA, a chance to apply for a school matching grant. Letter of explanation and application. Tournament Schedule events or ITF schedTexas Tennis and Education Foundation Junior Competitive Player Travel Reimbursement Grant The purpose of this grant is to assist competitive junior players with their travel expenses to National Junior Tournament Schedule events or ITF schedule events. Any player may submit an application for this travel expense reimbursement grant associated with national events.
